I am a scholar of Reformed scholasticism, with special interest in the theology and philosophy of John Duns Scotus and the topics of Reformed Platonism, Christian mysticism and theological aesthetics. I completed my Bachelor of Divinity (First Class Honours) at Moore Theological College, Sydney, Australia. I am ordained in the Anglican Church of Australia, the Diocese of Sydney. I have served as an associate minister in the Diocese of Sydney. I completed my Masters of Theology by Research (Distinction) at the School of Divinity, the University of Edinburgh. I completed my PhD in Systematic Theology at the School of Divinity, the University of Edinburgh. My thesis title is: ‘Gisbertus Voetius’s (1589-1676) Doctrine of Participation: Its Scholastic and Mystical Sources.’ I completed my thesis under the supervision of Dr. Simon J. G. Burton, John Laing Senior Lecturer in Reformation History and Dr. James Eglinton, Meldrum Senior Lecturer in Reformation History. I am currently serving as adjunct faculty at my alma mater, Moore Theological College. I am married to Larissa and we have two children. We are currently living in Sydney.
